it's summer in appalachia. you've been applying to jobs you won't get, staring at walls that don't move, and slowly losing your mind to the sound of the ceiling fan.

then you find the flyer.

tucked between faded band posters and missing cat notices on a campus bulletin board, it's for some kind of paranormal club. the tear-off tabs come with individual passwords.

you take one. obviously. now you're in a private chatroom with thirteen strangers.

you don't know who made the forum. you don't know why the flyer only showed up here, in this dying town where nothing ever happens.

but summer's long, and you've got nothing better to do than talk to strangers about ghosts.
